1. Who we are

Snow and Flow 雪浪 ("we", "us") runs private ski and snowboard lessons in Hokkaido. This policy is issued by Snow and Flow 合同会社 (Snow and Flow G.K.), Kita 3, Nishi 3-12-2, Kutchan-cho, Abuta-gun, Hokkaido 044-0053, Japan. For any privacy question or request, contact lesson@snowandflow.com.

2. What we collect

Enquiries and bookings — your name, email, phone or messaging contact, lesson dates, resort, the number of people in your group with their ages, levels and ski/snowboard choice, rental sizes (height, weight, shoe size) when you rent gear, your accommodation, and anything you write to us.
Payments — the amount, date and method of each payment. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
Messages — what you send us by email or through messaging apps and social media.
Website use — our website uses cookies and similar tools to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising.
Newsletter — your email address, if you subscribe.

3. Why we use it

To reply to your messages (on Facebook and Instagram this may include automated replies), answer your enquiry, arrange your lessons, instructor, rentals and transport, and send your booking confirmation and reminders.
To take payment and issue receipts.
To keep the records the law requires (for example accounting and tax).
To improve our website and measure our ads.
To send our newsletter, only if you subscribed — every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.

4. Who we share it with

Only what each needs to do its part:

Your instructor and our team, to run your lesson.
Rental shops and partner schools, when you book gear or a partner lesson through us.
Service providers who help us run our business.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Where it is stored

Our providers may store or process information outside your country, including in Japan and the United States. We choose established providers that protect the information they handle.

6. How long we keep it

As long as needed to serve your booking and answer your questions, and after that for as long as Japanese law requires us to keep records (for example accounting and tax records).

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or stop using it for marketing, by emailing lesson@snowandflow.com. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
